Who We Are
We build governed, CMS‑aligned training competency systems — and help OPOs implement them without altering the governed architecture. Everything we do is grounded in one principle: competency governance has to exist before training, evaluation, or workflow alignment can succeed.
We focus exclusively on competency governance aligned to the Conditions for Coverage (CfCs), especially the clinical sections that shape everyday practice. This gives OPOs a clear, stable structure for training, validation, and documentation — and confidence in survey readiness.
The work is led by Tess Kristensen, whose experience with OPO clinical teams revealed how often training operated without a governed, CfC‑aligned structure.
Our Story
Drawing on those years of experience, Tess observed a pattern: training was everywhere, but governance — especially CfC‑aligned governance — was not always there.
Competency expectations changed by role, shift, and preceptor. Sign‑off sheets weren’t tied to any governed structure. Survey readiness sometimes depended on individual effort instead of system design.
OPOs weren’t challenged because of a lack of commitment — but they were struggling because they didn’t have a governed, CMS‑aligned structure to anchor training, validation, and documentation. This work closes that gap by delivering a training competency architecture that brings structure, consistency, and defensibility to every clinical role.
